Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and winter season. Seems winter does not want to leave and we are all looking forward to spring.

For the first time in 30 years, Rick (my husband) and I decided to do the “Florida Circuit” this winter. We did shows along the east and west coast. It was a great experience to find out this early in the season which “looks” people liked for the coming spring and summer. We had not done an “all neutral collection” for many years---since the earlier part of my career when neutrals were our mainstay. I should not have been surprised at the great response we got.

This season, we are showing an extensive selection of white, oatmeal, cream and black fabulous jacquard washable linens from Italy with all the accoutrements (belts, hand woven scarves, sweaters, jewelry) to coordinate. Casual, elegant, affordable, versatile and nice for every day. Hope you ladies “up north” will appreciate this group as much as our Florida clientele.

We are trying some new shows this year. The economy is affecting us crafts people as much as anybody. Many show fees have become exorbitant as much as 4 x higher than a good decade ago. Promoters seem to be the only ones in our business who are making money. Consequently many of us are looking for alternative, non for profit shows.

We are also doing a home show 2x a year. Anybody who wants to make the effort to drive to central PA is cordially invited.

We are doing more and more custom orders these days. Many of you might have some great pieces of clothing in your wardrobe, but nothing to go with it. We can certainly take care of your needs. We offer silks in 30 colors, knits and wovens in an ever changing palette so don't hesitate. In our studio I can show you the whole scope of what are producing.

We are still going strong with our “one of a kind” hand painted silks. This spring we are doing a wonderful soft lightweight chiffon jacket short and long. It is featured on our postcard. Perfect over anything, you can just ball it up in your pocketbook and pull it out to wear for dinner-cruises-theater.

Our old time favorite kimono is also being offered in a variety of chiffon prints - perfect for summer - all washable.

Many of you ask about our website. It is impossible for us to update it. We make new pieces every week and never too many of each, so by the time we photograph them and put them on the web, they are usually sold.

The highlight of my life at the moment is our new puppy “Bonaparte”. He is a little black pug. Must be the “postmenopausal blues”, I really wanted to have a baby. He is absolutely adorable and my grandkids Austin and Celena are looking even more forward to us visiting them.
